Scandinavian Troll - from Mythology

This afternoon we caught a bus to the Heritage Festival at Hawrelak Park in Edmonton. It is an annual cultural festival (representing more than 75 cultures) with an emphasis on raising money for the food bank.

We arrived around 11:45 am and left at 3:15 pm. There was a lot to see and a lot of walking to be done but worth every bit of the time. There were so many pavilions that it would be hard to say which one stood out as being the most interesting. We really enjoyed watching the young Irish dancers.

There were thousands of people attending and it was very well organized from the buses bringing the people to the event to the rows of "johnny on the spots". All in all it was a great day.
