Woke up this morning and the sun was shining! After a complimentary breakfast at the motel we headed south on highway 22 for Longview and stopped at the Longview Jerky Store. Mmmm, it is the best we have ever tasted with many varieties and flavors. We got bison, turkey and beef this time.
We had a tail wind most of the way so we didn't need to get gas until Pincher Creek. From there it was an easy ride into Lethbridge and the Bridgeview RV Park. We arrived around 1:00 p.m. and had been riding under a dark cloud for the past 50 km. Only got a slight shower and it blew away from our campground. Our biker friends Mark and Willy were here to greet us and invite us over for dinner. And was the stew ever good. Irene called her cousin Anne who lives here in Lethbridge and we went over to visit her in her 1910 home that she has been reovating the the past three years. It looks like it will be a very nice home when she is done. She also rides a motorcycle, a nice Harley low rider, just right for an average size woman. We met her daughters Hayley and Alyssa and granddaughter Brooklyn (2).
